Modal Verbs (HAVE TO / HAS TO)

Modal Verbs (HAVE TO / HAS TO)

Modal Verbs (HAVE TO / HAS TO) dersimizde İngilizce’deki zorunluluk kiplerinden -have to- / -has to- modal (kip) larının yapısı ve kullanımı anlatılacaktır.

Bir şeyin yapılmasının ZORUNLU, GEREKLİ, MECBURİ olduğunu anlatırken have to /has to kullanılır.

    Olumlu Yapı

I have to get up early on every weekday.

We have to study hard to be successful.

You have to be careful in the traffic.

They have to take care of the kids.

    –

He has to write a letter to him soon.

She has to code better in phyton.

    It has to follow me.

    # I/we/you/they öznel zamirlerinden sonra – have to

    # He/she/it öznel zamirlerinden sonra – has to kullanırız.

    Olumsuz Yapı

I don’t have to get up early on every weekday.

We don’t have to study hard to be succussful on Math, because the topics aren’t so difficult.

You don’t have to respect him, because he is very rude.

They don’t have to look after the kids, because their parents are with them.

    –

He doesn’t have to write a letter.

She doesn’t have to take everything with him to class.

It doesn’t have to follow me.

    # Olumsuz yapılarda gereksinim olmadığından bahsederiz. Yasaklama (prohibition) anlamı yoktur.

    # He/She/It öznelerinden sonra olumsuzluk yardımcı fiilinde (doesn’t) -es takısı zaten olduğundan –has to– kullanmayız. Olumsuz yapıda tüm durumlarda don’t / doesn’t yardımcı fiillerinden sonra -have to- kullanılır.

    Soru Yapısı

Do I have to get up early, mum?

Do we have to come to meeting?

Do you have to be so noisy?

Do they have to listen the lecture?

    –

Does he have to participate to meeting?

Does she have to write better?

Does it have to follow you?

    # Soru yapısında olumsuz yapıya benzer olarak gereksinim olup olmadığı sorulur. Tüm öznel zamirlerde -have to- kullanılır.
